Delete your iowe data

You can request deletion of your iowe account and associated app data at any time. You can also request deletion of specific data without deleting your account.
How to Request Deletion
If you can still access the app, open Account and use Delete account for full account removal.
Email privacy@iowe.app from the email address used for your iowe account. Use the subject line "Delete my iowe account" for account deletion, or "Delete my iowe data" for a request to delete specific data while keeping your account.
If you are requesting deletion of only some data, include a short description of what you want removed, such as a receipt, uploaded receipt image, claim session, or claim history.
Verification
We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before deleting account or app data. This helps prevent someone else from deleting your information without permission.
What We Delete
After verification, we delete or anonymize the requested data where technically possible. For account deletion, this may include your iowe account record, receipt records, uploaded receipt images, extracted receipt details, claim sessions, claim history, and related app data associated with your account.
What We May Keep
Some information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backup integrity, or dispute resolution. Backup copies are removed according to our normal backup retention process.
Timing
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. If we need more information from you to verify or process the request, the timeline starts once we receive that information.
